1. The 3 Mandatory Qualification Criteria
Under current Omani industrial regulations, any commercial enterprise operating within Oman can apply for the national identity license if they satisfy all three non-negotiable criteria:
1. Active Industrial/Craft License
Your enterprise must hold a valid, active industrial or craft license issued by MoCIIP. General traders or resellers who import finished products do not qualify.
2. Local Omani Production
Physical transformation, manufacturing, processing, or packaging must occur inside Oman. Applies to produce, dates, textiles, cables, food items, and heavy industrial goods.
3. Minimum 20% ICV Content
Your product must achieve a minimum In-Country Value (ICV) threshold of at least 20% local content addition according to the official price formula.

3. Official Logo Colors & Packaging Guidelines
Once licensed, your product packaging artwork must strictly conform to the official visual identity manual. You cannot alter the symbol’s colors, alter wording, or stretch the Khanjar mark.

4. How to Apply for the Official License
- Submit Application via Tejarah Portal: Log into the official Oman Business Platform (Tejarah) or visit the Directorate General of Industry. Provide your active industrial/craft license and raw material sourcing breakdown.
- Ministry Review & ICV Audit (15 Days): MoCIIP evaluates your local content percentage (≥ 20%). The Ministry may conduct an audit or request invoices from local Omani suppliers to verify origin.
- Receive Official Certificate & Vector Assets: Upon approval, you receive a 3-year official permit along with authorized high-resolution logo vectors (AI, SVG, PDF) to hand over to your packaging designer.
